Pictures at a course at the Deaf Camp near Aspen we did one day of orientation. We had to complete an array of logs without falling off while passing other logs (like a more advanced version of the floor is lava game everyone payed when they were children. You know you did.) Balancing was a bit difficult! I honestly can't remember the rules of this particular games (probably fell off one too many times).
The first Friday outing we went to the Aspen Art Museum, walked a bit around this beautiful park (people tried to "owl" on more than one rock), and made clay sculptures at Laura's house. Fun!
Making clay sculptures. A teensy bit messy.
Helping to clean up a trail for orientation with one of my friends (we both love Batman!). The late August heat nearly melted us. We had to run for shade more than once.
All our hands were covered in clay. (It took a couple minutes to wash off.)
